Though efficient washing machines, combined with high quality detergent, will do a great job at cleaning your clothes, sometimes there are pesky stains that are tougher to remove and your regular detergent might need a bit of extra help. You will be surprised to learn that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on expensive stain removers as the perfect solution can be found in your kitchen or bathroom cupboard.
Deodorant is one of those things that can sometimes linger on your clothing, and so can ink. For these, we suggest scrubbing the stained area with white vinegar. The high acidic content of vinegar is often more powerful than a regular detergent and will work more vigorously to get the stain out.
Prior to washing, you can also saturate the stained area with rubbing alcohol, scrub the stain after letting is soak in a bit and then rinsing it once you’ve scrubbed the stain clear.
After trying either of these tricks, you will still need to launder the item of clothing as you normally would using your favourite detergent.
